a poet, a blogger, a guitar player and a woman are walking in to a pub

We drove to lake Louise (not the one in Canada, but the one in Alaska, which is a lot smaller and definitely less famous), and walked on the beach. We were scheduled to camp here for the 1st night, but the fact that there is light still very late and the long drive the next day, made us push more. We went on reading some of Eran’s poems.

There re over 3 million lakes in Alaska, we counted 237,435 so far. The water reflects the trees or mountains on the other side, spectacular!. We need internet powder and radio powder since both are hard to find. We stopped in a little motel, which had a small room with a double bed and a twin bed, so we took our air mattress (camping in style) and volunteered Amit to sleep on it after redesigning the room to fit the mattress and finding used shoes in the room. In the morning when we attempted to return the room to it’s usual form, we found a pacifier. Not sure what is the story with this room, but we are out of it.

We had dinner at the Caribou café at Glenoren, where we shared a Halibut and hot chocolate, checked souvenirs.

This morning we drove out after viewing a lovely lake (237,452) and made our way to Tok. More souvenirs… and we got some yummy fresh , home(store) made fudge. We gassed up and now we approach the Canadian border. I do not intend to open my lap top there.

Going on a small hike now

Cheers
