Strange how the world’s karma works

 

Less than 24 hours ago (22 to be exact) Neta even joins the world, a healthy smiling baby girl- which makes me 6 times uncle

 

And an hour ago I look at ynet web site - I rarely do that lately- and see a head line on a cop who’s killed his wife and baby boy and committed suicide- it caught my attention since he headline said he will be buried in my city- so I pay closer attention and- I knew the guy

We played rugby for a few years- and he lived a house across from mine at one time (hashmonaim st) though rugby is for strong guys- his position was for the smallest guy on the pitch (scrum half)- I am shocked- since both he and her were cops and her father was some senior cop- conspiracy theories emerge- I hope he is cleared- but it wouldn’t matter to them.

 

Yes life works in mysterious ways- and with that- my flight home is delayed for a week- due date next Sunday

 

Since Ra’anana remains in the same safety level (1 less cop, 1 less killer) vote change- vote meretz- elections only 3 weeks away

We walked in to the local diner for dinner , and came out later an enter our car, which looked odd-
First there was a bone on the front seat- of what I don't know- I picked it up and looked at it - this was after the trip to the desert- so we thought I must have sat on something- though I was not- we look at each other and trying to figure what it was- than we saw ore weird stuff, a big water bottle which we haven't bought, and Curtis looks in the back seat and spots a baby crib (empty, the dingo...)- than we got it- we were in the wrong car- a similar looking car was parked next to us- opened- we jumped out- here they all have guns- and some of them have more guns and moved quickly to our boneless car (we still don't know what that bone was)- that was yesterday
Now we are driving back to Vegas (just the airport) for a flight later today to Portland- but we took a slight detour- to the road leading to Area 51 itself- there are signs leading to it and alien memorabilia.

We had up the road and I spot a chopper (civilian looking) and since it's on the area51 road- I try to get a photo of it- and I can't- I just don't see it with the camera- so weird-I can't explain but it was just o chopper- or was it?
We continue through the desert filled with cactus and rock formations and searching for aliens- till we hit the end - 2 signs on the side of the road
Military zone, can't take photos, deadly force authorized and on an overlooking hill there is a patrol (few bored guys in a hammer)-
And than.........nothing happened- we turned around and drove back (with no actual photos of the sign) area 51 remains a mystery

We stopped in the desert to look for more wildlife- and saw spider webs- big ones but no more spiders, a jack rabbit which was scared and ran away, very small lizards and a desert chipmunk (desert chipmunk is not it's official name- but it's a chipmunk in the desert- so)

No reception here - this mail will be sent probably when we reach Vegas- hoping to see some weird stuff

subway, panera bread, Walgreen and a super market and the post office

a wendys

I will enter the apartment in 2 weeks- already bought a sofa and bed (my
credit cries).

If you want to understand the meaning of the head line- go and see ‘Son Of Rambow’ the best thing to ever come out of a joint British French film production- the last projects of these countries were the Israel- Lebanon border, getting us involved in a land war in Sinai – so they are not good together- but this movie is funny and original with just a taste of kitsch- I know some of you like my movie taste and some don’t- I liked it. Featuring a very good 80s soundtrack and the next river phoenix.

Yes I went back and took the car-now I am driving like a sisi- scared for my baby- I may even wash this one from time to time (since it is free in the dealership)

 

The fastest rising crime in America is identity theft- and now that I got my social security card- I am a possible victim- they say to hide the card- don’t let anyone see it- so where do you hard a piece of paper you can’t even laminate- for me any where I put it I want find it- so why hide it at all.

Identity theft is still only the 2^nd most common crime in America- the 1^st is voter fraud- republicans and democrats have been cheating the American public for 200 years.

The corruption has spread to Ra’anana – where my brother shai has lost an election for the 1^st time- he may still get a seat in the municipal election – but it’s a long shot- so Raananians of the world- come November- say no to Barak osama- say no to woman who lost but want admit it- say no to the senile- and vote Meretz for Raanana municipality (just this email list has 10 potential raanana votes….)

 

For international news- my long awaited transport- is due to arrive tomorrow- I am sick of listening to the same CD…… 23 boxes be here and the mess which is heavy now- will triple

 

I now own Skype technology- and a Madonna head set (is she in Israel? The last time she was here I was in Cyprus- we always miss each other)- my number is ‘Gil_even’- I got a call this week saying I don’t call enough—usually if you call me and tell me I don’t call enough- it’s a sure way of making me not call you… I hate that. But he is right- I don’t call enough- so get skype- it is free.

 

Just returned from a very good Spanish meeting- where I actually managed to speak Spanish- only words the last time- now full sentences…. Bought a book of Spanish short classic stores and a dictionary.

But the Irish girl was not there- I haven’t met here since- I guess like all the leprechauns- she is too extinct.

 

Tomorrow a hike after work- a genius idea to go hiking at 18:00.

Something I was sure would happen sooner has happened (other than, getting the car, license, bank, and all that crap)- I received my 1^st match from someone in the office

So let me tell you about mary Watson

 

If the name mary Watson doesn’t ring a bell – it’s is because you the last Spiderman movie was a bad one

Mary Jane Watson is spider comic (and movie) girlfriend)- I bet only Avishy new that

So when mary approached me from a face book application – my spidy senses were on high alert.

I know it sais sucker on my forehead- but where is it written on my IP address?

Mary has a sad tale of orphanage, moving from Canada to salt lake…yada yada yada….tears,,,,,  bla- I didn’t know than why she told me that

So we exchanged emails for a few days and here emails were strange- they were long (but not of quality like mine J ) and with a strange fonts- lots of …. And looked odd- since it felt odd even to me – I looked her up on face book and else where- but searching for mary Watson always gets images and drawing of spiderman girlfriend. People are very creative when it comes to drawing her.

Mary writes that she is a model now modeling in Nigeria and about to retire and open a fashion store in Cleveland- that was strange- Cleveland and fashion are total strangers. And Nigeria?

I am a trusting soul – so we wrote some more- and always with that wired font.

 

She was suppose to arrive in Cleveland this week- and I looked some more- and the search mary Watson salt lake- led me to a dating scammer site.

Apparently this bitch (and I apologies to dogs everywhere) is probably a guy who uses some software to analize emails – and according to the site – the next step is saying she is stick ask for money- and of course disappear. One what do you know the next day marry writes

So I didn’t reply and neither is he (she, it).  Any body want to try calling that number? She is a model.

 

So my question is- after being stood up last week- and my 1^st online scam (that I know of)- where does it say sucker on my IP address?

 

But this is not the match that I was given- that one is a Russian american jewish girl by the name of lana.

Which I plan to call after my possible date with Julie tomorrow (Julie is a real girl…..)

 

So I was in new York this weekend with my mom- who turned 29 again (strange since I am 31) – and 60 members of the Hitzig family which is my grandma family name- so now I have a large family I did not know about close by (close being 6 hours in any direction) but still nice to know I have places to crash in argentina, colombia, france and all over north America

We went to a real Chinese place in china town and had the most shocking meal I ever ate. They had shrimps- live shrimps- don’t read the next section if you are under 18, suffer from a heart disiese or pregnant, if you are under and 18 and pregnant keep watching) so they poured some alcohol over them- and after 10 minutes they stopped jumping- then they cooked them on the table right in front of us and that we were forced to eat them- chose most likely but it was shocking- I think the other type of food that comes in a normal meat way is better- it’s not like the slaughter the steak?

 

On the way back from Pittsburgh ( I flew to new York from there) I saw a lot of deer- but dead on the high way- that was a toll road- toll being the toll from nature- a dead animal every 5 miles.

So I noticed the little differences- case in point – rivers

 

In Israel if a snail crosses the road and leaves a trail of snail goo- we put a sign and call it a river

Here I drove over huge rivers and not a name in sight- I looked- no name! they just call it the place with water

Also the more east you go the worse the drivers- Cleveland are ok- Pittsburgh is bad and new York awful- not to mention the B.O- but new York was full of tourist and festivals so that was fun.

I was watching man united winning :) on the tread mill- 2.3 miles

Than went to the mid week hike- got there a bit late It is a circular path (5 miles)- so I had to choose which way to follow the group Of course I chose the wrong way...
So I ran to the half way point- met the group- and walked back with them the way I came.
Probably the most running ever for me since boot camp.

But a very fun afternoon...
